This isn't my auction but its been around for a few days and no bids yet. I can't bid on it because I don't (and won't) have a PayPal account BUT I've seen these sell for $50 a deck and because they're starting at 99c, I figure someone might pick up a bargain on these and still turn a profit... maybe sell/trade one on to me.

There's probably a reason why there're no bids on this auction. Have you checked the shipping cost?

Yeah it's a great starting price but the shipping is 66.27USD! So make sure you check that out before you bid!

I didn't read the description carefully to realize it was for 11 decks in total.

Ah right. I assumed the shipping was so high because I'm in the UK and assumed they were coming from the US so domestic would be cheaper. Splitting the cost like that might put some potential buyers off, even though that's the actual shipping cost from W.Aussieland; even more chance to pick 'em up cheap (and sell me a couple?).

Seriously, I'm going to place a bid or two on these. If I get them cheap, I could easily resell them - I bought mine two decks for $40 each + $5 shipping/handling. If I lose, I lose, big deal. If I win, it's like hitting the lottery!

I tried to put $100 max on it but no paypal = no bid. Even at that, I'm confident I could keep the angel backs and 2 Myth/Moth deck and still double my money at that price. $40 (give or take) is the cheapest I can find these anywhere online, you could start the bidding at $30 and BIN for $50 and sell a lot of them that way, I think.

The auction is being listed on the UK eBay site. If you can find it on the Aussie eBay site, the shipping would probably be a lot less.

If I get them cheaply enough, I plan on reselling them here cheaply as well with a slight profit - less than the normal going rate if I can manage it.

But if you can't resist bidding and it's not on ebay.au, contact the seller - he might cut you a deal on domestic shipping.

Yeah the Aussie one is also the same, he seems to have only offered a flat-rate international shipping with no domestic, so it all just ends up costing the same.

and don't worry Don I won't outbid you, I have no need for 16 of them, but If you do get them and end up reselling them, then I will be more likely up for a deck

EDIT: He appears to be offering Australian shipping if you wait for him to send an invoice after you purchase the decks at $12 shipping.

I was expecting these to go for over a hundred but not more than 200. Although when I think about it, the price does make sense.

Don't overspend. They're only cards when all's said and done. It'd be nice to pick up a bargain (and this price... it's getting close to 'fair' and that's not what you want.

Yeah, I surrendered on that contest. No longer a bargain, factoring in the $60+ in shipping... But it's cool; I was outbid, didn't spend anything but a little time and had a chance to chase a little dream!
