Playing Card Plethora / Re: Colonial Unrest Coming Soon on KS

I would also suggest a launch on Monday rather than any time between Friday and Sunday inclusive.  Many people in the US will be traveling or barbecuing or some other activity that will keep them away from a computer - you won't get that strong first day spike that many projects receive.  Give them a chance to return home first, or launch tomorrow, in advance of the holiday weekend.

Yeah, God forbid international buyers having an advantage for a change.... ;)

Playing Card Plethora / A Quick Look and a WARNING!
« on: May 21, 2014, 06:26:23 AM »
Anyway, here are a few shots of my two decks.

I hope you don't catch this image while you're eating.

You can notice how the cello only covers 3/4 of the tuck.  Also notice how nice and clean they look.

WARNING! DONT HANDLE YOUR TUCK TO MUCH!!!!!!

I had this tuck in my hands for about half an hour .......

See how it's scuffed on the right side.  Be gentle with your Zenith tuck, I wasn't doing anything strenuous when I had the deck in my hands.  I was only spinning and turning (like when you watch a video for a deck and the person is showing off the deck, something along those lines) it while watching TV.

I won't be too heart broken if this plays out according to the way he's conducted himself, I didn't pledge a lot. And I had read through his past projects comments section, wow, that was a fun read! And it sounds like I've only tread upon the tip of the iceberg between this thread and the comments.

Sprouts, yeah it was like a couple days after I pledged when I found this thread. Talk about a palm to the forehead. Regardless of the odds, maybe he will deliver though. i probably won't hold my breath though....

Did you get your deck?

This honestly baffles me, not so much that the deck was created but that there is so much support for a deck that literally anyone could have made. 827 backers for a 19 dollar deck with the least amount of effort put into it that I think I've ever seen? Just wow

The tuck looks classy.

I was thinking that with some silver foil and a special stock for the tuck, something like on the Origins tuck, you could get a classy look.  And the maybe for the courts have a very faded images of the kings, queens, and jacks.
