Hi, I bought on ebay what I thought was a joe porper card clip. However, it doesn't seem like a real one. I don't know, as I haven't had one before, but all of my decks are too wide for it and stick out when placed completely in. How can I know if it is real or fake?

I bought some "fake" porper style card clips in the past. But the deck fits fine. (unless it was not a REAL fake... LoL) but yeah post a photo! I've have my fair shares of fake since I lived in China for some time So yeah!

WOW! And that guy had a 99.9% feedback... He probably made tons of accounts to get such good feedback. Anyways, I only payed 12$/shipping, so, oh well.

Kind of, but there is no use to bringing it in my pocket with me since the corners of the box are exposed and will be damaged!

I bought this for about $20USD converted. ^_^. As you canse the deck fits just right

hahaha yeah! This fake slip is fine though. Serves its purpose. LoL! They even have this in a array of colors. LoL! But yeah Deck fits. You should throw that clip of yours to the ebay seller who sold that. **sigh** that was really really terrible.

There could be one of fout explanations that I can think of for your situation. Either you bought an Ellusionist Card Clip that wouldn't hold regular Bicycle decks properly or you haven't pushed in the deck all the way (which I doubt) or you happened to buy an improperly made card clip or you just so happened to buy a make one.

If it's not from America it's not genuine. Joe Porper creates every clip by hand and actually refuses to make clips for a set of cards until he has them to ensure that they fit perfectly. Genuine clips have a heavier density and a more matte finish for the black iodized versions. I've gotten a fake clip before and was so disappointed.

Hahah fanning skills. LoL! took me a while though cause I'm a very lay cardist LoL! Oh Cencorship in China is like insane. hahaha but nothin proxpn (VPN) can't handle. why?

Yeah I meant Lazy.

Yeah I can give you info on them. hahaha well they have been there since 2007 (which was the first time i saw their shop but didn't anything about cards of magic then) They've been very solid. People there are reall nice... THEY EVEN HAVE a MINI LOUNGE with TV and everything where they'll teach you the magic stuff you've bought.

Their cards are pretty good. I haven't been ripped off yet. Price is more or less the same, but the thing is people in Beijing (specially foreign passport holders) get paid higher thus the ability to afford items is like piece of cake.

I was about to buy my V4s there when I thought it was already gone (soldout) so yeah. They have a nice array of card selection. Plus there are about 3 magic shops in that mall. So yeah I even saw a couple of metal cards there are well.

Its a really nice shop! I was able to make friends with their owner (or was it the manager) and if he is still there maybe we can work something out with regard to cards (sales what-nots).

What else would you like to know?
