Design & Development / Probably the 900th Minimal Deck You've seen by now...

Hey,

Been a while since I've stopped by this forum. But it's never too late to share something visual, right?

I've been busy designing a fully custom 'minimal' (yea again) deck, mainly just for fun.
The idea was to make it much more colorful and such, but after designing this 'base' of the cards, I actually thought they make a pretty O-kay minimal deck.

The actual deck should have a lot of colored lines (as with a previous design I've made), so this is just a 'checkpoint' which I'll print a few of just to have.

I can imagine you don't like the royalties because, well, there really aren't any because I can't draw for shit  ;).

Design & Development / "Spectrum lines" - Deck concept idea

Good day,

I've had this idea for a while, but just didn't have (or didn't make) the time to put something on paper.

The idea was some fully custom deck that is colorful yet elegant. As for this week I made a few sketches as well as the custom pips (whom I think will stay the way they are).

I only did the Ace's and the back design. And was wondering what anyones thoughts were about this. Also, I'd like to know if anyone ever done something (quite) like this one.
Because I don't think I'm quite good enough to make decks for selling it to others (due to this being made almost purely on paper, and therefor having flaws) I can make them how I like. The reason I wonder if there's a deck quite like this one, is because I'm having a hard time coming up with a good design for the royalties that fit the theme.

If this all made a bit sense, and you understand that I'll probably make a few 'private' copies, I can now show the first sketches!

Deck Reviews! / The best decks I collected in 2015.

Hello dear forum members,

As I recently joined this forum, I am amazed with how many more people seem to be (very) interested in 'cards'.
Just like you, I have an opinion on which decks I like, and don't like.
I made a video that reflects this. It contains the 10 decks that I like the most.
These are from a selection of roughly 95 decks I collected over the past year.

I would love to hear your opinions about this, but keep in mind that this is a top 10 from the decks that I own, not all decks.
A list of the decks that were eligible of 'winning' is in the video description. I will not post that here due to the limited length of this post :).

Anyhow. I would love to hear your opinion, on the top 10 as well as on the video itself. Feedback will be very useful for future video's!

Introduce Yourself / Greetings from The Netherlands!

Good morning folks!

My name is Willem Klok, literally translated you should read "William Clock" I live in the Netherlands (NOT Holland) and am currently 19 years old.

I'm a card collector. Besides collecting the decks, I also make video's of them on my YouTube channel.
I would love to be a cardist, but my lack of patience make this a little harder :).

I've always been a fan of 'collecting things' as a hobby, playing cards, for some reason, is the one I managed to stick with.
Its just the extreme variety of different kinds of arts that have all been implemented on the same thing: Playing cards.

I found this forum via Google, I cant make this any more exciting (sorry).

The reason I signed up for this forum is that I am eager to learn about these things that I collect. I think this is just the right place for that!
