I am thinking of visiting America After I finish Year 12 and was wondering a few things About America. Keep in mind I have looked online and Don't know where to look as of this point in time.

Firstly, Americans drive on the right hand side of the road and Australians drive on the left hand side.

Would I have to do American tests to get an American license just to drive on the right hand side of the road? also, if I got pulled over would I go to Jail if I was driving with my Australian license?

I thought It would be a great idea to ask all of you if you have either your Learner's, Provisional or Full License. what car you drive (Brand:Toyota Corolla for example) and if it is a Manual or Automatic.

A little story to start off.

This morning I got up and went to make myself a coffee, and my parents went out last night for a work party, I noticed he just dropped of his Cigar cutter and his cigar cases. I thought to myself that you could go out one night drinking with some friends and then offer some cigars and you pull out the Cigar cutter. You cut all of the cigar ends ready for smoking and they can tell it's a real cutter. then you could say "Hey, watch" you insert one of your fingers into the cutter and slam it shut fast. but your finger does not get cut off.

Is there one already like this, where it is portable enough to go into your pocket and can be used for other stuff? I would love to do this one day, Plus I like the idea where you can use the same cutter to cut the ends of the cigars as you do for the trick.

Hey Guys and Girls.

I was recently talking to John B. over on Facebook and he said he was making a deck of signed cards from Magicians. This gave me the idea to do the same, but with a catch! I am asking for 50 people to reply here and  you can choose a card and if possible, sign it and send it to me!

So I will update this every time someone would like to send me one and I will take a photo of the finish product once/ if I receive all the cards.

PS. I have a card signed by KpopFever which is the 4 of H. and John B is sending me one which is 5 of D.

Also, when signing, please put your name somewhere on the card so I know who's is who's

I would like to tell you about the 40 hour famine. Here is some details about it:

The 40 hour Famine is something World Vision sets up each year for teenagers to help raise money for families in 3rd World Countries.
The teenagers (like me) have to go without something for 40 hours and I am going without food, sleep and furniture and my goal to raise is $200 my school goal is $8,000
just $40 can help feed a family of 5 for a whole MONTH!

Design & Development / Need some help with a magic trick

Hey guys and girls!

There is a magic trick out there where there is a break between the cards and you can see the changing happening (check this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwX2zYOlwAU&feature=related (time: 0:21)) but instead of the deck, you are using your hand.

I have a phone which came with a black back and a white back (check picture below) I was wondering if anyone could help me make a colour change with the two backs where you can walk up to someone and go "check this out, (pulls out phone with black back on it), with a wave of my hand I can change it to white" (waves hand stops half way to show one half is the original black and the other is white, couple waves back and forth moving the colour change up and down the phone) and one swift motion it changes the phone back to white. you then can take the white back off and hand it out for inspection with the original black back in sight.

I think making this trick would be a mindblowing trick for anyone who sees it and even more mindblowing if someone could help me make it up. I do not want to destroy either back, because  I change between them quite regularly. Is this possible without making a gimmick with the backs and without colouring one or the other backs?

please tell me if it sounds plausible and you are happy to help (really would like more intermediate - expert magicians helping with this!) Thanks!

Hey!

I was wondering if you guys and girls have made anything to do with a deck of cards and such (not back designs or card designs).

Below you will see my recently finished CROSS-STITCHED Ace of Spades. I am doing this for a thing at school called "Festival of Learning" We had groups we could choose from and I chose Crafts and cross-stitching. At school I have started a Heart for the Ace of Hearts (if you couldn't guess :P) and we have to turn them into badges. That's why its quite small.

I plan on doing a Diamond as well and a club (the club will be most difficult) but I did the spade because I was bored tonight. It took me about an hour (first day ever doing cross-stitching). I am very proud of it and I think my teacher will be too.

Thanks for looking and I hope to hear what you guys have made. Whether its a card made from dominoes (you may have a video of knocking it over) or it may be something like I have done.

Okay. I have now had a problem with Ellusionist.com with an order.

I was given store credit back in March because of a faulty product and I ordered what I wanted: A Close-up Mat and a Black Arcane. The next day I receive an order confirmation and have been waiting since. Keep in mind this was in the START OF MARCH! and it is now June. Usually only takes 1 month tops for orders from Ellusionist to get to Australia. It has now been two months and am waiting for my Close-up mat for the Channel I am controlling for my Sponsor. I have sent them an Email to see if I can get this fixed and hopefully will get a response soon.

What are your stories about issues like this? Has it been this bad? I would be very interested to hear!

So Guys and Girls.

There is a whole lot of game Pre-Orders coming out at the moment: Halo 4, Assassins Creed 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and some other ones.

Have any of you pre-ordered any games? I have been caught up in all of the Call of Duty games at the moment that I traded in a couple of games I did not want/like and put the money toward a pre-order for Black Ops 2. So far I have received a nicely sized poster (I'll post pictures soon.) and also a MW3 Prestige token! Knowing the Call of Duty companies, there will be a collectors box and I am aiming for that.

I wouldn't mind chucking down some money down for the Halo 4 game as well but Black Ops 2 is good for now :)

It comes with black fabric tabs that you can either tuck under the deck as shown on the left side, or have it on top of the deck to make it easier to pull the deck out, as shown on right side. Made from Aluminum, silver in colour

It comes with a little metal pen as seen at the top right of the box and uses normal ink cartridges cut down to fit.

Today I picked up the First Modern Warfare, already owning 2 and 3. When I bought the third one it came with a collection case where you put all of the MW discs in. I have noticed I have one more spot left in it and do not know what the last one is. Is it Black Ops?  or MW World at War?

Please help me figure this one out, I have used my friend... Google but found nothing.
