??? Ok so i know there are a Red, Green, Blue & Silver version of the foil prototype and there labeled out of 1000 Buttttt??? I have two red decks that are different one has the signature sticker on the outside of the box and the certificate and the other is just a plain white box with a red foil prototype deck. Are they the same just someone has removed the certificate and the sticker or are there different versions?

I just recently had the chance of acquiring my most treasured deck since I started collecting. Who you might ask, well the Hustling Joe transformation cards.

About the cards, it is a complete deck except for missing joker  :(  plus there is no box. Finding a complete deck those were minor setbacks to a treasured find. They are dated 1895 i believe these are first edition because there is no border on the court cards. Even though the second edition was printed the same year.

if you would like to see specific ones just let me know for close-ups of singles otherwise I will be posting pics shortly of them all.

A Cellar of Fine Vintages / Re: What year this deck was made?
« on: January 31, 2017, 02:51:25 PM »
First USPCC was founded in 1885 which would make 1985 " 100 years" of operation, second the bluse seals were used until 2009 as for the long flap tuck on the box was used up until they moved the factory to KY when they changed the box, which was in 2009.  So i would place this particualr deck as 2001  8) 8) 8)

A Cellar of Fine Vintages / Need help dating a deck from Canada
« on: November 13, 2016, 03:44:57 AM »
Ok so i recently acquired a deck that is sealed with a red 20 cents tax stamp on it issued by Canada i have no idea when in which their stamps came out
i know that we have tax stamps here in the US and can date decks fairly easy with them
The deck has red roses on it i can't tell the maker of the deck as the paper seal is a dark craft looking paper
Any help is greatly appreciated thank you for your time!!

I use Google Photos its fast free n theres a comprehensive sreach that will find similar decks without making any tags for your photos.
You can organize them down even farther by creating albums of certain brands names Etc.

I store my sealed decks in $25 bank penny boxes same size as a standard brick box holds an even dozen. These boxes are stronger and sturdier plus realitivly cheap on Ebay.
I like the smaller boxes so i can organize the cards by category easier.

Do i actually need to?
Are there easier ways to do so?
As you can see i don't know much about this so any help is appreciated thanks have a great day!

Playing Card Plethora / Decks holding there value?
« on: September 15, 2016, 11:01:50 PM »
This maybe a dumb question, already been asked but ill take my chances LOL
so we all know that special, limited, numbered and/or signed decks generally are worth more from the start. How do we know if a deck is going to truly hold it's value?
obliviously certain decks will always hold value like first editions will always be worth more than there followers.
Yes Designer, manufacturer, color, card stock & subject matter play an important role.

Are decks really valued on desirability & accessibility?
I guess every deck is worth what your willing to pay for it!!

Ok let me start off by saying I'm new at this! I have created a new design and been in touch with legendary playing cards for a possible publisher. Is this a good option? I will submit my designs soon to get some opinions. Thanks for any help.
