To me, it seems a little disingenuous to say that it's an Art of Play project "in collaboration with Dan and Dave."  Dan and Dave Industries owns the Art of Play!  It's like announcing that you're playing with yourself...  :))

We'll see what this all will amount to.  Personally, I think it's an uphill battle to create an outfit like that.  Kickstarter has just sucked way too much air out of the marketplace for something like this to breathe.

Pretty much just said this on UC, but I agree 100% - it's like a brand new search engine going up against Google. Really not sure if it has a chance, don't most deck creators want maximum chance of exposure? For a shot at a Pedale Design, Albino style project.

seems like HOPC. A way to get your deck made and out to everyone.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Yeah - and where did the last HOPC deck get its funding from?  A Kickstarter campaign...

A smarter move would be to act as a marketing and fulfillment company.  Imagine a KS deck project where the designer just drops his design with a company, who (if they like it enough) proceed to get behind it with marketing to raise exposure and fulfillment when all is said and done.  The creator might take in less cash, but the exposure could easily make up the difference.  It's food for thought.

hmm... Launching on 28th May 2014 (Wed) at 10am PST.
