Hi, I'm Fes. I'm not usually into joining forums but a friend of mine recommended I do. Apparently I spend a lot of time talking about playing cards and she's tired of listening. So yea, I thought I'd give this a try. Participate in the conversation with people who actually enjoy cards too, if you'll have me. 

A little bit about me. I'm a pretty normal guy. I like to paint, red, watch films, eat good food. I really appreciate good design, from cars to playing cards. Basic list of big boy toys. I'm a lover of Ferrari. I like Poker a lot, but not online. Not too keen on plastic cards, not that there is anything wrong with them they're just not for me. I tend to go through a lot of decks, at the end of the night the deck usually leaves with someone. I don't call myself a card collector, it may be that I am. I do know I like playing cards, and I like using them.

You're in good company here.  We have a fair number of poker players around here - feel free to start topics about it if you like.  Don't be afraid to ask questions, and remember that the search feature is your friend - there's a lot of history here and you may find some of your answers have already been written!

I know what you mean about the plastic cards.  I don't mind them at all, but I do remember the first time I brought a two-pack of Kem cards to a poker night with friends.  They were rendered useless halfway into the game - they like throwing their cards on the table and at each other with a lot of force; plastic chips all over the place...

Yep, that's me I'm the Fes on kickstarter. Also the Fes on cardlauncher, whenever that works lol. Looks like I used the quote thing propperly, so win.  haha, learning how to navigate the many features in forums.
