#CLOSED... Decks are no longer available... Thank you for your interest...

Thank you everyone... I know these are a stellar addition to your collection...  I have (1) Sealed Red Deck left for sale... Please PM me if you are interested...

Selling c.1920 Sealed Class A Tax Stamp - Vintage Bee Playing Cards Club Special No.92 - Back No.67 with Cambric Finish... These cards are brand new and have never been opened... Inside the cards are wrapped in wax paper... This deck was manufactured by the N.Y. Consolidated Card Co. which was owned by the USPCC at the time... I have one deck left @ $85 including shipping in the U.S.... These are in immaculate condition, given their age and once they are gone, they are gone... These are pre 1 cent stamps and pre 10 cent stamps; they are Class A Prohibition Era Stamps... People used to sit around during prohibition drinking their illegal alcohol playing with these very cards... An awesome piece of playing card history... PM if interested... Thank you...

That's not even close to why you should get these cards. :P

Indeed, that's not something I would even think of opening to begin with. ::)
It's a great piece you have there, if I had the money I'd jump on the occasion. ;)

I love vintage decks, but I don't have the money right now.
That's a nice few decks you have there, though. Where did you get them?

I have one opened deck, and they have a unique ad card with Bee Company Information printed on the back... They certainly do not handle like magic or even air cushion finish... hahaha... but that is certainly not the reason to get this deck... I have four decks remaining for sale... You may very often see vintage cards, but usually they have a rectangular 1 cent or 10 cent stamp, or maybe a more rare square 1 cent stamp... Those are all from 1940 - 1965... These are 1920... They're awesome... Four decks remain if anybody wants them, let me know... Thanks, J.Rock

Let's see photos of the opened deck, please!  I'd love to know exactly what's being sold.

Holy crap, that's like a museum piece!

I think there's a playing card collection in the museum at Columbia University, willed to them a few years ago.  You should consider approaching them with your finds - they might make a better deal for them than any of us could.

Yeah that's one beautiful deck!! If I had the money I would buy it in a heartbeat. But sadly that's not the case.

I'll have to check out that museum sometime if I get the chance!

Just make sure I got the university right first!  Wouldn't want you running up there for nothing.

It isn't so much a full-blown card museum as it is a collection in the university museum.  I'm not even certain sure how much of the exhibit is available for viewing - I'm certain a good percentage of it is kept under highly controlled conditions since there are cards in it dating back over 600 years.

I just put the payment down for the last sealed one Jonathan has. Really excited to add this to my collection. It's the biggest purchase I have ever made on a single deck for my collection but in 8 years time I will be the owner of a roughly 100 year old deck, which sounds really exciting.

I was going to bid on the blue one but there's no shipping to the UK?  Any chance of adding an international shipping option?

I got my pair of vintage Bee's today and they are definitely worth the purchase. I'll be resealing them in cellophane to protect their exterior. :)

Be careful with that.  The paper and dyes on the older deck may not be compatible - ever see cellophane stick to a deck? Just put it under glass or in a plexiglass shell.
