Hey all! I’m a new reviewer making content on YouTube. Please check out my first review and let me know what you think. Ps. I’m no Cardist but I am a filmmaker so that should add some production value!

I enjoyed your YouTube post.  Very concise and to the point - in fact, you could even edit them just a wee bit tighter if you wanted to, though there's not a lot of fat on the bones.  The biggest mistake I see with deck review videos is that they're soooooo looooooooooong when they really don't have to be to cover the salient points of what makes that deck good, bad or just plain different - you managed to dodge that pitfall nicely.

The setting is very nice - far better than a blank wall, the kitchen table or someone's bedroom!  Good production values, though you might want to come up with a title sequence - it needn't be too flashy or long, just something distinctive to act as sort of a "signature" to kick off your videos.

I don't suppose you're in the NYC area, are you?  I'm making a video soon for a magic product I'm selling soon and would love to have someone who knows what they're doing to work with!

Thanks for the feedback Don! Very much appreciated! I like the idea of having a front signature but need to think on what that’s gonna look like. And i hear you regarding the trimming of fat... initially I had shot this whole intro section about why I’m making reviews and disclaiming that I was no cardist or magician but that I was a collector and filmmaker but I scrapped it. But maybe if I can edit the “intent” of that down to 4-6 seconds it could be the signature sequence at the top. Interesting.

I’m actually in south florida. Although would’ve loved to help on your video.

I used to live in your area, back in '89/'90.  I deejayed at WKPX 88.5 FM and (among other gigs) was a pari-mutuel teller at Pompano Park.
