Be prepared for the upcoming valentine day.

P.S. I'm not sure if this is a right place for this or not.
It's not a new deck, but it's playing cards related.

It's not really a new deck release, but I'll allow it since it's a new release of something that's heavily playing-card related.  In this sense, it's no different than discussing AIP bottles or Porper clips.

Congratulations on getting on the Wire!

With worn cards? Heck, for Valentine's I'm using an Ornate or seasons! :) Thank you so much for this. Unfortunately I missed the original free youtube video you had made... But I'm definitely going to buy this, and I'm happy to support your craft ;)

When I first started posting on this forum (which was not very long ago, really), I saw your avatar and thought it was so cool. I showed it to the guy I was dating (since we happened to be chatting at the time). Today, he gave me five of these roses made of playing cards!

He made five of them because five is my favorite number, and also added five leaves to each rose. He used the the five of spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds for the outer part of the roses and the four of spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds for the inner part of the roses (four is his favorite number). He also made sure to pair the five of spades and the four of diamonds together, since the five of spades is the card assigned to me based on my date of birth (March 5th), and the four of diamonds is the card assigned to him based on his date of birth (March 19th). The fifth rose was made of the an ace and a three card. The ace for the current month and the three for the month of March (since we're both born in March). He then tied all five roses together with a turquoise-colored bow because it's my favorite color.

He told me afterwards that he Googled how to make these roses and found your video for sale at The Wire, so he bought it, bought the materials and practiced making them. I think he really wanted to give me these roses because he knows I'm obsessed with playing cards and these would mean much more than a regular bouquet of flowers.

After he presented me with the roses, he asked me to be his girlfriend. He specifically waited to ask me today because it's the 5th of January. I'm pretty sure you can guess how I responded.  ;D

Ohhh cool. I've always wondered how you did them. I hope they're easy to make. I'm not very crafty and I might be making a bunch.

Nice Lee!

I can already hear the Collectors fallout "Blasphemy" for folding up a Nugget!! I remember seeing Phantom's Roses at the beginning of the year with her ORNATE versions. Very creative idea!

Thanks, Randy

Yeah, I've made tons of these. I make them the way Lee's was, with cards as the leaves too. Once you get the basic idea down, it's fairly easy. I had girls at school see me with a deck practicing something and ask if I could make a rose for them right then.

I have to do this for the GF now. She likes yellow rosses. Any suggestions on a bright yellow deck? I'm thinking the green Erdnase 216's for the leaves.
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Thanks Randy. Yeah, I know what you're saying but these are pretty unique and awesome. Those collectors will have to tough this one out.

Nothing says love like some yellow GNuggs!

There's the yellow Bikes, and there's also the yellow and reverse yellow decks form Magic Makers.
