I don't think the Monarchs are the most popular cards amongst the people here, but saw via twitter that they have 100 uncut sheets for sale.

I saw that it mentioned first edition. That wasn't my question. I was wondering if they mean the very first edition or the first edition of the final product. It's a pretty big difference. The picture looks like the gold back

This is the pre-release edition. They don't have a second edition so it would have to mean the pre-release one. And it does look like the gold version.

That's true, but they reprinted the deck with changes so that could be the 2nd edition. The new product though (without gold on the backs) is the actual deck they released so I could see it being the other backs.

If you say first edition that means there's two editions most likely. And in this case there kinda is but the first one was the pre-release edition, and the second edition would be the one selling now.

I know what you're saying, but they sold the original 1st edition decks for normal price...but the. Again this is all speculation.

Haha I agree Alex. The only thing that I order from them usually now is tally's, But I have a pretty good supply so I don't think I'll be ordering from them anytime soon.

Its just ridiculous that they do this stuff. T11 needs to learn what a V2 really is. Not adding some embossing or some metallic inks.
And they need to be more creative.... more custom

So, since the current issue is version 1, I guess that makes the Gold Monarchs "version 0"?

Alternately, they probably consider the Gold Monarchs as a different release, much like E's Gold Arcanes.  If you bought the first or second or any edition of Arcane uncut sheets, unless it said "Gold Arcane" you'd assume it was either the black or the white, right?  So perhaps T11 sees "Gold Monarchs" as a different product from "Monarchs".

It would have helped if they clarified the wording, but the photos clearly show the current-issue design and not the Gold design.  I can't be the only person who spotted that.

Either way, it's an uncut sheet and a limited edition.  It will become valuable to those who value such things.
