Does fanning powder really make the cards easier to fan? I applied baby powder on my cards before and it turned them into garbage. I watched metallicamegadeth11's video on baby powder vs fanning powder but it looks like he can already fan good with and without powder.  His baby powder fan was pretty good too.

I don't know, I'm bad at fanning so just wondering.

This video didn't help either

I never use fanning powder, I don't think it is necessary.
I think fanning powder is for improving old decks.

By the way, fanning powder's main portion is Zinc Sterate, which you can find in foot powder.
It's totally different from baby powder. Try buying foot powder or even better Zinc sterate form chemical store and try it yourself.

Yes, i agree with phantom, it improves old deck but do not rely on it, it does make fanning much easier.

Never saw the need for it. My beat up, bent up, sticky mess of standard Bikes still fans perfectly.

I mean, you can buy fanning powder or you can buy a new deck of Bikes for $2 at any department store. Besides, you can't pressure fan as easily with a super-slick deck!

Hmmm. I may have to try that. They sell foot powder at my dollar store. It will be very interesting indeed.

I will give you guys a heads up if it works  8)

Just letting you know, theres really no need to use fanning powder or whatever power you are going to use.

Maybe buying new decks is cheaper in the long run.
