Stolen Cards (Lennart Green)

Brilliant story and self-working routine with terrific cards

Overview

Lennart Green is a very skilled magician, and with Stolen Cards, he starts with the basic effect of the classic Gemini Twins (Karl Fulves) that can be performed with a regular deck.  But he really takes this to a whole other level with the help of two additional revelations, a brilliant plot, and a deck of custom cards. Remarkably, this is a self-working trick, so no sleights are required, but the cards that are included and the presentation create an unforgettable routine.

Effect

The best thing you can do is watch a  video of Lennart Green demonstrating the effect - it's a routine that is outstanding and memorable, despite being a self-worker!

Comparisons

There are some other marketed effects that are very similar to this one. First of all is the "Kaleidoscope Cards" by Daryl, which is practically identical and also comes with a custom deck, but personally I have a slight preference for "Stolen Cards by Lennart Green".

Also somewhat similar is the "Las Vegas Gemini Twins" by Corbin Magic, but this weakens the effect by producing four aces instead of two matching pairs, and furthermore these aces don't have matching backs. Another custom deck employing the same method is the "Botania deck" by Vincenzo Di Fattas, but it has bridge sized cards and features backs with 52 different flowers, thereby removing the interesting storyline and also resulting in a much less impressive revelation of matching backs.

Recommendation

So get Green's "Stolen Cards" - it's the best, and Lennart's performance and instruction on the accompanying DVD is both entertaining and educational.
