Greetings, new internet friends.

I can begin by pointing out my username is a reference to my middle/nickname (Jack) and my favourite playing card. (Joker)

So you can call me Jack, if you wish.

As a child I loved watching magic shows. My idols were Paul Daniels, Penn and Teller and David Copperfield. But as I grew up, writing was the interest that took dominance. I spent my childhood and teenage years writing stories. As an adult I moved into blogging and ghost writing, covering another passionate interest of mine. Video Games.

It wasn't until fairly recently did I rekindle my love for playing cards and magic. I pursued developing my skill with card tricks far more ardently than I had anything else before.

Which brings me to present day. I am working on building an Instagram and YouTube pages showcasing my journey learning magic and progressing my abilities.

I am from the North East of England where I live with my partner and children.

This forum looks like a great place.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

Hello, Jack!

Welcome to the forum.  Interesting choice of a screen name - there was a company here in the States called "Jacks and Jokers" which until recently was licensed by USPC to make apparel with their trademarked designs on them from their various and more-popular brands.  The clothes were pretty cool, but they were also terrifically expensive.  I learned from USPC that the company lost the license and that another firm will be coming to market soon with similar, more affordable items.

Please, make yourself at home here.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

On a more personal note, if you ever get interested in designs for magic decks, I do some custom gaff work.  I have a web page at thedecktailor.com - check it out!

Cheers,
Don

Wow. Playing card themed apparel definitely sounds like my kind of thing. Just what I need to jazz up my videos. :p

I've taken a look at your site. The products look very useful. :) You're clearly very knowledgeable about playing cards. Do you have any other online presences?
