You another look at the KS video:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zeedog/vertex-deck-vxd-las-vegas-edition
You'll notice that all the standard spade pips holographics also do not conform to the rules of the flag. Then take a look at the stars and also the stripes on the blue and red metal cases...they also do not conform.
Do not try to suggest I am disrespecting any flag / tradition / country or whatever else. It is art!
As to your veiled accusation regarding KS rules and my printing....totally baseless. What are your motivations for such an accusation I wonder.
Based on the negativity and the accusations, I can see I'm not welcome here. So I will no longer post.
You clearly need to take a nice, deep breath and relax a little.
So all of your spade pips with flag images do not conform to the rules for displaying an American flag. You can call that art, sure. I won't deny you your right to do so - I don't know what country you're in, but America is a relatively free country with a fairly liberal policy towards free expression. But there may be people who would take offense, or who at the very least would think you don't know enough about your subject to display it correctly. Why risk losing even a single sale over something so small and easily corrected, especially when you haven't printed your decks yet? Are you that married to the design as it is that you're unwilling to make any modifications?
Did anyone, myself included, accuse you of violating Kickstarter rules? Or did we simply point out that, as you're not in violation of Kickstarter rules and haven't yet printed your decks, you have time to make a correction that might just increase your sales by a few decks?
You're free to post or not post - it's entirely up to you. We prefer that all people here, deck producers and deck collectors, freely express themselves in a respectful manner - and agreeing with everything that's said by any person isn't mandatory. If everyone agreed with everyone here, this place would get dull fast. A truly professional designer needs to have a thick skin when it comes to critiques of their work and be willing to hear what the buying public has to say. We'd prefer to hear you address what people have to say about your work rather than getting defensive, but if you'd rather not talk to potential customers, that's your decision.
As far as me personally, I'm not a huge fan of the overall design of this deck, but I'm very intrigued by the manufacturing process and its potential for other projects. It looks like you could potentially become the next popular deck manufacturer, on par with other popular companies people around here talk about and order their decks from. But if you prefer to take pouty attitude when people try to point out your design's shortcomings, good luck finding artists interested in working with you. People here want to see the bar raised higher and higher, so yes, they will point out shortfalls and mistakes - because they want to see everyone making the best decks they can, decks they are eager to purchase, rather than decks that fall short by just enough to keep them from wanting to buy them.
So if we don't hear from you again, best of luck to you.
