For higher quality display and storage cases, you can check out my cases at www.caratcardcases.com.  Single deck cases retail for 8.49 and can be found at various retailers, including playingcarddecks.com   ;)

A friend of mine just received a bunch of Bicycle New Fan Backs (I think it is circa 1980s due to the white Bicycle tear strip and the bottom of the deck, but I could be wrong) and was wondering what the current value of these are...any ideas or opinions?

Any idea on when we can buy this year's club deck?

It's already available now for members, you can contact Steve Bowling directly at srbbowling@gmail.com.

1@38, 2@70, 3@100, 6@175 and 12@335 (domestic shipping included)... add 10 to any level for international shipping (which is a great deal for international members)

You should contact Scott Dyer of Card Stories (cardstories.co) as he is an amazing builder of card structures.  He would know best ;)

Welcome to PCF!  Unfortunately, I don't think that anyone will be able to help you unless you open up the case and show us what the cards look like and there could be anything inside. :)  Look forward to seeing pictures of the decks themselves...it would be best to take a picture of all sides of the deck.

Someone put the White Lions Tour deck up on eBay...looks nice...he also has the other deck in a separate listing...

The deck that seems to be like the MS Create Magic deck in black and gold is the reverse of the Eye in the Spade deck, which I was printed by EPCC (like the MS Create Magic deck).

Sweet! :D  I know what I will be doing Tuesday night at 8PM (Beijing Time) ;D

Annette, did you think of offering your Artwork from the deck as a special reward?  I am sure that people would be interested and it would boost revenue...just want to make sure that we get that blue deck funded :bosswalk:

Does anybody know/have an idea if these are only available in a certain geographical area?

From my understanding, they just released these, so they are probably still making their way out to all the 7-11 stores.  I won't worry too much as these will probably be really easy to get as long as you have 7-11s around.   ;)

Aside from the two new Tally Ho Mica Red & Blue decks that were just released, it appears that Tomohiro Maeda previously released six poker sized decks as in the photo from his website below.  Notice that cellophane pull tab on the the Blue deck in the bottom row is not visible vs. the ones on the Red and Blue decks, which are red. :o  Oh well, another deck to put on my White Whale list  :(

Actually, I have contacted a Japanese guys, he said that it's a mistake of google translate - not "6 colors" but "6 kind" - gold trim (deck w/o custom joker) and gold frame (deck w/ custom joker), so the mysterous one is actually black platinum only

Just to clarify, I mentioned six decks, not six colors...I was saying that there are two Blue decks (which you have confirmed and clarified from your friend in Japan, thanks) and I was not aware of that fact.  I only have one Blue deck and thus that means I need to confirm which I have and then search for the other along with the white platinum deck. ::)

BTW, do you know which one in the picture is the gold trim vs the gold frame?  Thanks!

Thanks!  I saw that, but generally don't trust buying anything from Taiwan.  I'd imagine they pop out a bunch of fakes over that way lol

Wow that's a pretty harsh statement and quite a generalization, but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.  I will assume that it was made mainly in jest and leave it at that. :-\

FYI, the seller in the link is a very dependable seller and I know of many people who have purchased from the site (including myself) without any issues

I did see Jerry and the Dead twice live though: once in Toronto, and once in Buffalo (Rich Stadium - Steve Miller was the opener!!!)

Well now, you are really dating yourself...the concert in Buffalo must have been pretty awesome! :bosswalk:

For poker tunes, check out Ricky Lee Plays Poker...it is a two disc set with one disc full of poker themed tunes picked by Ricky Lee  and one with some of his magic tricks.  It also came with a poker deck :D.  It was released in 2007 and you can still find it new for around 55-60 on eBay and just the discs for less at around 25 on Amazon.  Here is the song list:

  2. Rambling, Gambling Willie - Bob Dylan
  3. Turn The Cards Slowly - Patsy Cline

Well, Don, the deck I'm speaking of doesn't have a date code on the Ace or anywhere else.  There's two full size, full color identical Jokers.  It's a Black Fan Back, not reversed, and it comes with a double backer and the aforementioned "poker hand card thing" lol.  I don't know the technical name for them.  The only date is the copyright date of 2015 on the bottom of the tuck.  I also canceled the blue seal Tallys.  I couldn't bring myself to pay $60 for two decks of cards.  Maybe next month :(

I think you are referring to the Black Tally Ho Fan Back in this eBay listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Fan-Back-Deck-Tally-Ho-Playing-Cards-Poker-Size-USPCC-Limited-New-Sealed-/351480780132?hash=item51d5e31564:g:W-sAAOSwrklVaOfa

The listing says it was made by Murphy's Magic and has a double backer and poker guide (poker hand card thing), so I am assuming it is the same deck...there are other listings that offer it for a little less ;)

Congrats Don!  Glad to have you back!

Somehow, I'd never heard of the 'Gold Seal Bicycle Professional' decks before!

... Gotta get myself some!

FYR, I just picked up a bunch at Penguin Magic for 3.75 a piece!

+2 for Vreis as this was my second transaction with him (forgot to post the first time) ... the communication was great and payment was fast ... look forward to more transactions! :D  Hope you enjoy the cards! ;)

A couple days ago they updated the product info page.  Their is now no mention of FB's at all unless you go to buy them, then it's set up as it's always been.

Actually, I just checked and on the website, it only mentions Circle Back Tally Ho...any search of Fan Back comes back with nothing and a Tally Ho search only returns Circle Backs.  When you go and order, it says Circle/Fan Back, but there is no where to select which you want from what I can see.

I also can't imagine USPCC discontinuing the FBs and attribute this to the long list of why their website is so HORRIBLE!  >:(

There are two White Gold decks available on eBay at the moment with the cheaper being 191USD (or best offer) including shipping, so that should give you an idea
