I've started to develop v2 of Jetsetter Playing Cards. I'm aiming to revisit the original (but refined) concept that started it all. Green tuck case (or possible alternate color). See the attached mockup of the current (work in progress) direction of the tuck case.

Even though I'm only showing the tuck case, you may be wondering about the faces. If you do not already know, I'm an advocate for standard faces. So, they'll more than likely be re-colored but want to hold complete functionality and familiarity. There's a long-term reason for sticking with standard faces for Jetsetter Playing Cards.

I found absolutely nothing wrong with the faces you used for Jetsetter - the coloration you chose worked very nicely and standard faces worked fine for your design.

Consider doing something a little less iconic and a little more interesting for the jokers this time - perhaps a more traditional joker figure in a pilot's hat or uniform? Also, if you're in a creative mood, drop a few "Easter eggs" in the courts, like a small, subtle "pilot wings" pin on the lapel of a King...

Thank you, Don, as always! The standard faces worked just right. Some additional changes I'm looking to make for v2 are to the Ace of Spades and Jokers. De Hudson and I are working on a unique Ace of Spades. I'll share the concept at a later date. Will be curious to see what everyone thinks. Love the "Easter Egg" idea. I thought about that the first time around (never did it) but I think it will be a nice touch for v2.

It has a simple, classy look to it. Nice. It's sort of a fusion of a small, repeating pattern (a la Bee Diamond Back) and classic casino two-logo design (a la Wynns). Cool.

That's exactly the direction I'm thinking with a little advertising flare. Think of the days when airlines provided playing cards. I have receive positive feedback regarding the new branding of Jetsetter Playing Cards. So, I figured this could be the staple for the Jetsetter Playing Cards website. See attached for what I mocked up for the Ace of Spades.

Before I continue and complete the tuck case, I'm really split on the color-way for v2 of Jetsetter Playing Cards. Green is the standard brand color but blue and red seem really appealing. See attached. Thoughts?

Here's the working color names:

1. Jetsetter (Sign) Green - brand color
2. Altitude Blue - not sky blue but the blue you see when you go higher
3. Navigator Red - the port side wing navigation light is red

I'm really split on going forward with a particular color-way.

Green AND Blue are your two colors, mate. They're immediately identifiable as airline colors, more so than red, especially outside the US, Britain and France (and most nations with red in their flags).

I'm pretty close (mere days) to launching the next version of Jetsetter Playing Cards. The next deck is officially called the Premier Edition in Altitude Blue. See attached for various mockups. Side note... the pattern on the front of the tuck will be clear UV spot coating just like the original version. Let me know your thoughts.

Quick question, are the two Jokers the same or is there something differentiating them? Just asking as many of the card games I play require two different color jokers.

They are different. They simulate round trip boarding passes. One from destination A to B and the other from destination B to A. Plus, they have other different designations. However, I'm deciding on how to add red accent to one.

The jokers are really cool, but I'd suggest a slight tweak for a more "authentic-looking" appearance. The three-letter codes used for ticketing and baggage labels are used to identify the airport, not the city, of departure and arrival. The tickets should say "Logan Int'l. Airport" with BOS and "McCarran Int'l. Airport" for LAS in addition to the cities they're in, shouldn't they? The two cities have a handful of airports in all categories; commercial, private, military and municipal. Hey - you could get really fancy and instead of using those two major airports, pick airports more likely to be used by private aviation or small corporate jets that serve those two cities. It would really look like a true "jetsetter's" airplane ticket!

Absolutely. That's the plan. On the prototypes, I used the actual airport destination versus the city. The final Joker will have the actual airport name or typical verbiage found on a true boarding pass.

For the airports, I have two options:

1) Have a tier that allows one back to choose the departure airport and another backer choose the arrival airport (side note: the second Joker is the return ticket).

2) I choose the airports based on my own creative reasons.
