Picked these up the other day, and I'd never heard of this back before.  Has a 10 cent tax stamp.

So Blue Ribbon comes in Rosette, Urn, Acorn, Meadow - any other surprises?  Any idea which are more scarce than others?  I'm guessing Rosette, Urn, Acorn, Meadow

Update:  Known named backs:  Rosette, Filigree, Urn, Acorn, Meadow, Koh-I-Noor

Update 4/20:  Known named backs:  Rosette, Filigree, Urn, Acorn, Meadow, Koh-I-Noor, Wicker

Great find! But don't forget the Filigree back in your list. I also believe there are a couple others not mentioned here, too. If I come across these names, I'll post them for you.

Here's another Blue Ribbon deck to add to the thread.  I think this design was originally a Kalamazoo Success back (http://a.trionfi.eu/WWPCM/decks03/d01955/d01955.htm), and Blue Ribbon was a brand started by Willis W. Russell Card Co.  So Russell Playing Card Co. which bought up the assets of each, made this hybrid Blue Ribbon deck.  Three card companies reflected in one deck. I think this is the earliest RPCC Blue Ribbon ace.  No clue what this name of this deck is. (edit: It is the "Koh-I-Noor" back.  See below.)  I also have an Urn deck with the same Ace, plus a joker.  If anyone else has some old Blue Ribbon decks, post them here.

So I finally discovered the name for the blue deck with the gems on it - Koh-I-Noor.  Koh-I-Nor is one of the crown jewels of England.  Here's a Blue Ribbon Whist deck and box showing the name of the back.  Based on the date it was one of the first Russell Blue Ribbon decks.  This is the first Blue Ribbon joker I have seen that had the name of the back on the deck.

Well, it has been a few years, but I've uncovered a new Blue Ribbon back.  I only have the narrow version (121), so don't know if there is a wide as well.  Introducing ..... WICKER
