The Jeu de Drapeaux and Jeu de Grotesque are two packs of French cards that were printed in the early 19th Century.  Some time in the mid nineteen hundreds the two packs were reprinted from the original plates. Can any of you experts out there tell me if there is any way to distinguish the original from the reproduction?  Help!

Not sure about Jeu de grotesque.
Jeu de drapeau was printed off and on from the same plates from 1820 or so thru the late 1800s. A good repro was done in Italy [I think] in the 1960s.
