Buy the here: http://www.malleries.com/authentic-louis-vuitton-monogram-playing-cards-set-two-new-i-53350-s-333.html?mall2SID=df2ac81248c88229112de556753d59e0

These are very expensive but that is because they are vintage and very rare. I have already talked to people who have bought them so these are real. And someone also told me they handle well!

Those look like gilded edges, which means they can't handle well. Either way, I see these on eBay fairly often. For $200? No thanks. :P I'll pick up a deck of Jerry's for that price.

I'd much rather have any art deck that isn't 200 bucks! I don't get why people want these designer cards. I'm sure they aren't that "vintage". They would be much older and not look like that

@alex... Gilded edges eh?

It's much more about prestige than design quality, baggs. Some people go for that kind of thing, based on the (sadly very common) misconception that popularity equals quality. ::)
There is also an exclusivity factor for these specific decks. If I'm not mistaken those used to be reserved for VIP members, and not obtainable by the general public.

Nothing from Louis Vuitton is cheap. Anything that comes from a big name designer is way overpriced, and those are a great example. If I was a multimillionaire, I might buy them because they do have some collectible value. As a middle class collector, no way.
Here's another set:

They actually have a very classy look, and if they had a more reasonable price(Say $30), I might actually be tempted by them.

Wow, $200 for the "prestige" of playing poker with a Louis Vuitton deck.

I can imagine a couple of billionaires sitting around their Roman marble table, sipping vintage wine, smoking their cigars and playing poker with this deck while the lowest denomination of the chips is $10K and the stake on the table is in million dollars. And they will open 2 of these $200 decks to play per session and throw them away at the end of the day.

Don't judge it as decks of cards.
It's Louis Vuitton product, so the price follows.

For $200 I'd rather buy the pair of Louis Vuitton shoes I've been eyeing. :P

I am a fan of designer clothes, but designer cards it pushing it a bit far. I mean, I do own an LV wallet but would never spend that much on their cards.

P.s Alex, where the heck can you find a pair of LV shoes for $200?

Whilst there is a market for these type of playing cards, as you can tell by the responses of most people so far in this thread, we are not the forum where this market resides :P
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

This is without doubt a playing card set for the 1%.  Gilded edges and designer initials.  Bah.  I'd take a pack of Tallys over these any day.

During the holiday sales they had some nice discounts. One pair I was eyeing was discounted to $230 from $500. Their men's shoes are fairly cheap for the brand, ranging from $300-1,000 for casual wear.
