So i was at a thrift shop and picked up a bunch of old decks for the heck of it, each was 50 cents. what i want to know is how can you tell the age? one looks old as heck and seems like paper but no marks on where its from, a couple others are from casinos, and i just was trying to figure out the age.
Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Those are VERY vague descriptions. Could you post a picture?

Since opening a vintage deck is a huge no-no, your best bet is to look at visual indicators, some of which are listed on UC.

Tax stamped decks are pre-60s. Decks with a bar code are post-70s. You can guess the general era of a deck by paying attention to those two aspects. For example, a non-stamped deck with no bar code is likely to be around the year of 1965-1975.

ok well alex i doubt any of them are vintage the only one that could have been that old did not look like USPCC decks at all and had no card box but more of a display box with it, when i can get pics up i will. also they were all used, i bought them for random card usage, poker nights, throwing cards, practicing gimmicks. :)

Ive been thinking about looking for some old decks at my local antique shops. Not sure if I'll have any luck. Were you looking for old decks for value or for fun?

Also I'd like to see some pictures of your finds!  :)
