Magical Cardistry Bonanza / Workshop Convention
« on: September 12, 2016, 10:33:19 AM »
Hey all, so hopefully its ok to post about conventions here. One of the best that hasnt been put on in forever is coming back in st. joe. Ring 129 does the workshop. Its a very limited convention the size for the lectures is around 15 to 20 people. You get props in hand while you learn and have a much more intimate experience. So many big names have been, Penn and teller have been guest in the past. I posted the link to their site down belows if you are looking for more information. Its coming up in Oct 3 - 8.

If you search the forums, you might find it. Alex design the vortex deck and had plans to make a 2nd deck. Things did not go as planned though and Frost cant/wont accept that it wont be made.

12
yea, I was pushing as much as I could to get it for this day. No luck though. :(

I camp at my computer, but not for sales. I just like to be lazy sometimes.

I'm guilty of it also. I don't think its something to be embarrassed about. There are worse places to be. It's something I don't complain about. I'm in my comfort zone and its my choice.

Before the internet, people used to wait on lines hours for concert tickets. Travel to dozens of stores to find a highly-saute after OR sold out Christmas toys.

Warning: Grammar Police

People used to travel to dozens of stores for things that were highly... pan fried?   :)

Just busting your chops.  Thought I would get it over with before Don chimes in!

It would be helpful if you quoted me correctly before pointing out a grammar mistake. :))

"People used to wait on lines." is correct.

"Travel to dozens of stores to find a toy." is correct.

Check it for yourself. http://www.gingersoftware.com/grammarcheck

I think he is meaning when you said "highly-saute after" which is why he said the pan fried part. As we believe you meant highly sought after

I the indices look fine, just make sure they are all in the same proximity to the edge. And you could see where they ace of clubs was by looking at the bottom of the deck, bringing it up just a bit would take care of that and still have the same artistic effect.

I just dont look at this and think I could play card games with this. Seems like its made for something unique.

It looks like an interesting set, but I feel that box is over priced.

Don, as far as dice, DMs generally have close to a hundred if not more of them. Helps when doing multiple enemy attacks, players without them come, different things require them. Also I know there is an RPG someone told me bout once that each player needed lie 50 of them.

I really enjoy coins, I can add something people have not seen to my show.

As far as the deck, as expected its amazing.

The artwork looks really nice, but feel it strays to far away from the playable decks.
