I haven't seen much discussion here about Brendan Hong's Marquis Playing Cards, for which funding ends on Kickstarter in about a week.

It includes a Noble edition deck, with more traditional style court cards.

There's also a separate Royal edition deck, with court cards in Brendan Hong's more typical style, which is a fusion with some of his oriental ethnic roots.

Here's an example of card that compares the Noble edition with the Royal edition:

What do folks here think of the Marquis playing cards?

And what do you think the chances are of this project getting funded?

Even if this deck isn't for you - or it's not in your price range - Brendan is one of the better designers out there (unless you want the market flooded with the other guys) and so please consider giving this campaign a push on your social media channels or encouraging some of the bigger channels to tweet it or FB it.

This is in its last week and it could really use some NRG
