The cards look nice. The box looks nice. The two together seems an odd pairing with such drastically different styles.

Hi! I just launched a Kickstarter for my new deck of cards called Secret Menu, conceived and designed by me.  :karrit:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mike2600/secret-menu-playing-cards

52 cards with illustrations of 52 different foods
2 matching Jokers (slices of bread ... for sandwich tricks)
2 bonus gimmick cards
+ an instructional PDF to explain all of the secrets in the deck, allowing magicians of any skill level to perform some mind-bending miracles.

These will be produced by Expert Playing Card Co with their Classic Finish and packaged in matte finish tuck cases.

Thanks for taking a look!

Aces and Eights - the Vintage/Antique STISO Board / Bicycle Singles
« Last post by Bruce on October 15, 2023, 03:35:37 PM »
Hey Everyone,

I'm a bicycle single collector who's hit the wall finding cards that I "need" to fill in the gaps in my collection. There's plenty on eBay but most are for examples that I already have. I've also tried estate sales but don't think I've ever found anything.

Do any members have any ideas for finding cards or have singles that you're willing to sell? I can provide a list but there's honestly too many to list here.

The Conversation Parlor / Let's Fly card game
« Last post by LetsFlyCardGame on October 10, 2023, 01:45:53 PM »
Hello everyone, especially aviation enthusiasts. I have developed a card game called Let's Fly.

It is a game for 2-6 players who compete in opening airline routes by connecting airports worldwide using appropriate passenger aircraft. There are 72 airports in 6 colours to choose from. Each colour has its own hub which can be connected to every airport of the same colour. With 38 different aircraft types there are 186 routes possible. Together, players create 6 route chains using the airport cards and the aircraft cards. Depending on the chosen game objective, players score points, conquer continents or count the transported passengers until one player reaches the goal and wins.

Besides the fun factor of the game, the added value is also the educational aspect - players learn about selected airports around the globe (their official names, geographic location, IATA codes as well as some interesting facts listed on the cards) and also get to know various aircraft types and their characteristics (passenger capacity and range).

Here is also a video of the gameplay on the Instagram link below, made by my publisher. Although the commentary in the video is in Slovenian, I hope it gives you the general idea of how the game is played:

The game is already available for purchase here (be sure to use the promotional code LETI10 for a 10 % discount):

You can also order the game on Ebay:

Comments, questions or any kind of feedback is very welcome. Thank you.
