Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello!
« Last post by Don Boyer on October 31, 2023, 02:11:03 AM »
Hello, My name is Jeff Scanlan. I just recently joined. I am a former professional magician of 30 years, who was mentored by one of the greatest magicians- Eugene Burger. Currently, I am a professional speaker, author, and artist of both Impossible Bottles and 3-D cut decks of playing cards.

Both my bottles & 3-D decks can be seen here - https://BottleMagic.com

I collect all kinds of decks of playing cards with an emphasis on Bicycle decks of cards. I'm looking forward to being a part of this group and learning more about the club members.

Welcome to the boards!  Nice to have you here.

You?ve got the shrunken courts which USPCC started using in 1954, so your deck is 1963.

Check out the USPCC dating chart over at bicyclecards, https://bicyclecards.org/uspcc-dating-code/

With date code ?E?, you can say 1943 or 1963.  I don?t think Bee still made that back by 1983.

Take a look at the court cards and post a pic. Might be able to narrow down more for you.

I just joined and look forward to posting my accumulation of card decks. Amateur collector so I will appreciate any feedback. This one Lee identified as Bee Back #126. It was in a Bicycle 808 Rider Back box, so didn't know about it for a while. I have never seen one before, so not sure of the age.

Not quite a price list, but a 1914 Wyeth Hardware catalog page with a great selection of American Bank Note decks
