You say you're open to trading. Would you be interested in a yellow Chinatown deck? We could figure out the details over PM.

Hey, are all your seasons sets still reserved?

With worn cards? Heck, for Valentine's I'm using an Ornate or seasons! :) Thank you so much for this. Unfortunately I missed the original free youtube video you had made... But I'm definitely going to buy this, and I'm happy to support your craft ;)

Playing Card Plethora / Re: NEW DECK- Heraldry Deck from HOPC and CCC

Wow. HOPC and CCCC are here to stay if you hadn't already noticed. From the pictures, the design appeals enormously to me. Plus, the two way fanning must be fun to take advantage of. I love it.

Actually, for the first time in quite a long time, I am regretting my vow to stop my playing card purchases. I regretted it with some of the "limited release" opportunities I saw fly by under my nose, and now it's happening again... I think the decks that will be the greatest successes out of all those released today (or tomorrow, should I say) will be the Artisans, the Confidence, the Fathom, the Curator and the HOPC collab, and the v7. I believe the artisans will be a more custom deck, something similar to what collectors asked for a while ago and complained about with the Rebels' release. I don't think the split spades will be too successful, and I don't know much about the BC releases other than the snow owl re-release. Do you think De'vo has something up his sleeves?

Well I figured that realoading the pages 5-6 times each would hopefully end up giving me access to the threads I wished to view. Glad it's now resolved.

A Cellar of Fine Vintages / Re: What classifies as vintage, antique, etc?

But if you go back to models from 1962 and older, well - relatively few people alive actually drove one
Pardon me, senator Boyer, but that is just a bunch of malarkey.
By 1927, 15 million Model Ts had been manufactured by the Ford Motor Company.
I doubt 15 million seems like a handful to most americans.

Deck Reviews! / Re: [Vid] Rebels Deck Review

Wow. Very nice review as always! You are really making great progress. I like the feel of the video and the tone of your voice, and your critics are truly helpful. Keep it up!

That's a bummer... Aristocrat and standard Bee stocks were actually my favorite of the four types of stocks: although I really like the NOCs, bicycle stock and magic finish, I loved the lightness and softness of the aristocrat stock, and the durability of the bee stock without having an extremely thick one like the casino stock. And so are the Aristocrats sold at T11 out of print or do they now have standard stock instead?

Playing Card Plethora / Re: New KS Deck - Misc Goods Co by Pedale Design
« on: October 14, 2012, 02:56:08 PM »
Wow! I can't believe this topic doesn't have more views... I just saw your decks, and it is amazing. The artwork and design are beautiful and sooooo intricate. It is plainly splendid (no surprise it's gotten such a high funding with almost 2 weeks left)! Now, despite the fact that it isn't very practical for magic and cardistry, it is, after all, a graphic design project more than a deck of playing cards itself. I mean, it is both, but it's main points seems to be design rather than use. Now, I think the reason why some collectors, magicians, flourishers and resellers complained about the price is that many tend to buy multiples of each deck so they can use them to their heart's content while still having reserves left just in case. However, the cheapest price on your page is 10$ per deck if we buy 10 decks. On kickstarter deck projects, that is usually the maximum price for 1 deck w/shipping, with prices reaching as low as 5$ (if you buy a gross).
Anyways, your project is amazing, and I wish you the best of luck.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hey Munro,
Sorry I couldnt get back to you earlier. Regarding our sale/trade, I would still be interested, but it probably wouldnt be until a while.
I wish you best of luck, and I'm sorry for those scammers you encountered...

I missed your long posts, Don :p I was just wondering, when you say nowadays there are basically only Bicycle and Bee casino stocks in use, what happenned to Standard Bee and Aristocrats stocks?

Joshua Robinson
I traded with Joshua Robinson, 2 Harley and 3 Cancer Research decks for a set of aladins, a galvanic, and an open tragic royalty.
The trade went along very well. As a matter of fact, I do not know if this is allowed or not, but I would actually give +2 for Joshua Robinson: not only did she ship promptly and safely but she communicated very well, and was EXTREMELY patient. He sent my decks almost a month before I sent mine, because I was overwhelmed by my school work (same reason I hadn't posted in a long time). However, he was very accepting about it (if that means anything), and he trusted me. I regret not having given him an extra deck to thank him for that. Now, both of us are more than content, and for his patience, understanding and positive attitude, I would like to give him +2. Thank you for making this experience so worth it, Josh!

Playing Card Plethora / Re: what im getting for DOTM
« on: October 13, 2012, 06:10:06 PM »
I agree Don. It isn't a ripoff, but I doubt I would have spent my money on most of the decks I've received so far since the great majority I already had. I still have about 4-months left though, and I am looking forward to it as I'm confident there will be one more goodie before my year is up.
Yeah. The arrco isnt bad, but most of the decks I already had or probably wouldnt have bought otherwise. With 4 months left as well, I'm also hoping for at least two more goodies, and maybe some newer releases (july-october). I wont be signing up once again unless they really amaze me in the last months, which I doubt will happen. Plus, I'm not really buying so many decks any more. Rather, I am trading for the ones I really want, and actually enjoying the hundreds I have.

List has been updated.
Nathan Ill keep an eye out for your pm.
Thanks.
Sorry about that. I've been very busy lately, with no time to post or anything. I won't be able to do anything right now. Sorry.
