Hi All,

Today we launched our new playing card deck called Entropy. My brother-in-law Chambliss Giobbi, is a critically renowned contemporary artist creates collage art. I designed a deck featuring his art. This is definitely a show stopper, conversation starter deck. He photographed famous people and made them the face cards; Paul Guilfoyle from CSI is the King, Fisher Stevens from many movies including the Flamingo kid and many TV shows is the Jack. There is the the Queen adult actress Gina DePalma and the Enigma is the Joker. The decks are going to be printed with USPCC.

Hope you guys can support. Check out the KickStarter video it's really interesting

This is a wild deck of playing cards. It's engaging on some level and on others it's very off putting for me. The most off putting aspect is the card back. I find it more disturbing than I'd like. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not. I'm on the fence about backing this. The unique style here draws me in, the unique style here also pushes me away. I'm really unsure which direction I will end up but I'm glad to have seen this because I really like the number cards. I don't really like the courts though. This is full of engaging and repelling images. I may be a backer if I can get over the negative eye feel of the card back and the horror film design of the centipede people on some of the courts. Disturbing, but like I said I do really like the number cards.

Part of my Collection updated infrequently but occasionally, when I remember. (I haven't in months.)

Yes this deck is engaging in many ways! As I designer I understand your pluses and minuses you mentioned. I did give my input to the artists regarding some of the images but ultimately he didn't want to compromise his vision. I hope you will bank us - it is a totally unique deck.

Getting the rights to use the likenesses of the actors must have been a bitch...

Getting the signed model releases for the celebrities wasn't hard as my brother-in-law is a well known artist in NYC and it's actually a small tight art community. They are all always taking part in each other's projects.  :D

Seriously, that's pretty awesome.  I was working on a project that had to be repurposed because the necessary artist likeness rights would have made it prohibitively expensive.
