did you build those frames? o.O can you email me the blue prints? no i can't wait to move out so i can build these and mount them, but sadly i do not have any decks worthy to go into such a thing (not yet anyway ;) vortex ;)) or i could make them now, and just have them somewhere in my room, but my room is too small. if my mum and dad let me i could make one and put it above my computer

I'm thinking of making frames like this. My dad is a retires wood-shop teacher, and has all the tools we need to make some.

Depends how nice you want them to be.  I could hammer a couple of nails into a 2x4 and paint it black easy enough.  I might, actually.

Yes, I did build these frames.

I don't have any blueprints for them because what I do is buy the main part of the frame ( Shadow Frame ) and I just add in the shelves with pieces of trim from the hardware store. Then paint them black. To be honest, they look half decent but in reality are not the highest quality thing. Everything is leveled by eye, although I think I did a fairly decent job, but they work well for the effort I put into them.

whats shadow frame? never heard of it, so really just some nice wood, painted black and nailed/wood glued together?

I'll be posting my full, updated collection after the Holiday Sale here is over. I am focusing my collection down to vintage decks, favorite decks, and prestige decks (decks that hold a lot of value in the market).

This will allow me to build a vast and strong collection over many years, and will let me disregard junk decks that are released by companies every few months (no matter how good something looks, every few months is too much!)

A shadow frame is basically a picture frame but it has depth to it, allowing room for the decks of cards. But yes, basically the frame consists of wood, glue, nails and paint.

I'll be posting my full, updated collection after the Holiday Sale here is over. I am focusing my collection down to vintage decks, favorite decks, and prestige decks (decks that hold a lot of value in the market).

That is pretty much the way I have been collecting, makes it much easier to decide what decks to get and what not to.

I'm almost embarrassed to read off my collection.  Way too much stuff.  Most of my decks I have at least two of, one for use and one for backup.  I have everything released by E.  Everything by T11 except for White Cents.  D&D from v5 up.  All the Karnival decks.  All the David Blaine decks except for the Split Spades Lions in the sepia box and the White Lions Series A red (which at those prices I may never own).  An insane amount of odd-n-ends decks.  I've been thinking of inventorying the collection - perhaps soon I will and post it here.

So, I snapped these pics of my collection.

I have a few other decks, but they are sitting at another location.
Those decks are:
- 6 Bicycle Clots
- LTD
- 2 Infinity
- Black Tiger Gaff
- Ultragaff
- Green Artifice
- Bicycle Mini (Green)
- Black Ghost 1st Edition in a lucite case

Pic 1 = most of my Bicycle Decks

Pic 2 = Other decks & the Bicycles that didn't fit on the table

Pic 3 = All my extras that I will be posting for sale / trade

If you include the decks at the other location... 436 decks total.

I'm ordering a new deck or 2 every day almost. I feel like I'd vomit if I looked at my bank records. Once I got back into collection, about a month ago, I've gotten addicted haha. I'll post a pic soon.

Long video.

Enjoy

I meant comment on that before but what is there to say?  That collection is... nuts.  Every time I was thinking 'Well, he doesn't have x', cut to the next part and you have 3 bricks of x. It really is just awesome.  Nothing more to say.

Well that's all because of my hoarding issue that I've developed.  My new year's resolution is to tone down a bit.  I had a habit of buying a brick of each deck that came out.  But now I'm only going to do two or three.  It doesn't help that the cost of decks are going up to almost $10 nowadays.  That factor seems to be pushing me away from hoarding even more.

That video is madness!! How many deck is that? I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't count them all. Do you plan on trading/selling them or do you just want to keep them.
