i better check my posts before i post next time.  :'(  it seems i keep messing up and clearing up misunderstandings.  :'(

No one expects perfection - but yes, show a little more care in what you write and how you phrase it.  It makes life a lot simpler when you're being understood.

I did want to make custom courts but couldn't due to a bunch of different issues~ meh.

Well, were you at least able to tweak the colors a bit to make them a little more interesting?

I like many things about this deck, despite the standard courts.  It's black without bashing you over the head with it, and it has white borders to break up the all-black monotony and preserve the edges.  It has some cool geometric designs on the back as opposed to skulls, demons, undecipherable nonsense glyphs, etc.  Plain and simple, this deck catches my eye.

As a first deck from a new company, I'd say it's not a bad effort.  (It beats ANYTHING Merz67 has "designed" into a bloody pulp with a half-inch-thick steel rod!)  I hope to see bigger and better things in the future, and let's hope that it handles even better than it looks!  What's the handling like?

  • Card for me maybe?
had high hopes for this deck, I would still get one even without the custom court cards. I like the backs and tuck box and I can't wait to see the front of the cards with the aos and jokers. They do look slightly similar to Devo's but that's just my opinion..  :-\  Do look forward to the release in 4 + days  :)

EDIT: just saw the jokers, they're really cool, no, awesome would be a better word! I have high hopes for the ace of spades! :D  Here are the pics from 52 crate,

Oh the jokers are pretty snazzy! I like the cursive writing a lot! The raven(?) is great too! Looks really really nice!

I was surprised at how white and lively the joker was for a black deck. It was a nice change up in my opinion

Is it just me or does the joker seem to resemble reaper?
To be honest, despite all the dark-themed decks out there, I like it!

The countdown is when the store opens and when it does there'll be more than just the deck ;)

Also the deck isn't as limited as you might think so I'm sure you can get your hands on a few even if you don't line up for them.

so the decks are already made? or is it a pre-order?

To me, the Joker looks like a raven or a crow, but at the same time like two hands moving in a clawing action.  It's definitely a piece of art.  Me like, me like...

I have sat and thought about previous jokers for the last 10 minutes. I believe this joker is the sickest joker I have ever seen. Bias? Maybe. Untrue? Not at all 8)
Magical as Sin!

The stock is I think generally agreed to be best one out there due to a secret poll we did. : )
Can you tell us what the stock and finish is please?

Stock is very similar to white lions. Finish is standard performance coat.

That doesnt help.... Does the finish have a name? And when you say performance coating do you mean like what Ellusionist uses?

"Performance Coating" is Ellusionist's name for Magic Finish.  By the word "standard" I'm guessing it's old reliable - Air Cushion Finish.  Right?

There's no dating code (sorry I don't know how to describe the code) on AoS, how could we date this deck 30 years later? :P

The AoS spades isn't what I was expecting but it does look good! I'm not sure what it reminds me of but whatever it is it's not a bad thing haha

It seems as if the back and AoS are very similar but the jokers are less similar in style to the rest of the deck... Does anybody else feel that way?

There is almost always a Copyright date on the bottom or top flap of the Tuck Box.

Not at all. We both weren't expecting this to look as it does. I also mentioned it reminded me of something that I can't place my finger on (maybe it's master deck, but I'm not sure). I also talked about the jokers.
